Floyd Scott

Memorial services for Floyd Scott, 79, of Spavinaw, were held Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Community of Christ Church in Sperry, OK. Reverend Charles Rowden officiated.

Floyd was born December 2, 1937 in Tulsa, OK to George and Eula (Edmonds) Scott. He passed away October 13, 2017 at the age of 79 years, 10 months, 11 days.

He worked for Oil and Gas Journal and Pennwell Publishing as a supervisor. He was a devoted Christian. Floyd enjoyed riding on his tractor, doing anything outdoors, and also enjoyed going on car trips. He loved his family and his pets.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Scott; children, Debra King of Sperry, Regina Scott of Owasso, Floyd Scott, Jr. and wife Robbie of Broken Arrow, Tracy Mabes and wife Tris of Tulsa, Mark Mabes and wife Crystal of Mannford; grandchildren, Brandi Nixon and husband Re of Skiatook, Amber Blower and husband Bryce Ford of Owasso, Dustin Scott of Broken Arrow, Brook Scott of Broken Arrow, Tatum Mabes, Timber Mabes, Ellaina Mabes and Austin Mabes; great-grandchildren, Seth Sweet, Ryan Nixon, Jacob Hurd and Peityn Ford; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Eula Scott; and nine brothers and sisters.
