Floyd J. Hudson

Funeral services for Floyd J. Hudson Sr., 83, of Skiatook, were Tuesday, March 11, in the Cornerstone Free Will Baptist Church in Tulsa.
The Rev. Dr. Curtis Linton officiated, and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery at Sperry under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Sperry.
Pallbearers were T.J. Hudson, Matt Richardson, Justin Jones, Matt Calvert, Jeff Calvert and Casey Paulk.
Honorary pallbearers were F.B. Leonard, Ralph Brown, Ross Brown, Bob Webster, Jonnie Hayman and Lance Buchannon.
He was born on Oct. 23, 1924 in Sperry to Joseph Charlie and Addie Jane Hudson. He passed away on March 7, 2008.
He was retired from American Airlines as lead mechanic. He served with honor in the 36th Infantry during WWII. He was a charter member of Cornerstone Free Will Baptist Church. He loved his garden, loved to hunt with his boys, loved his church, his Lord and serving others.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie; sons, Floyd Jr., and wife Judy of Skiatook, and Tommy and his wife, Wylene of Skiatook; grandchildren, Christi and Matt, Cara and Casey, Shelli and Justin, T.J. and Keli, Matt and Laura, Jeff and Hillary, and Becky and Jeff; great-grandchildren, Mallori, James, Cameron, Braden, Hailey, Cole, Cash, Nathan and Carter; sister, Iva Wilson of Turley; and many nephews and nieces.
