Funeral services for Florida Elizabeth Wildcat, 65, of Tulsa, were held Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Anchor Baptist Church in Turley, OK. Reverend Pastor John Waltrip officiated and a private family interment followed.
Florida was born February 12, 1945 in Haskell, OK to James Samuel and Sarah Florida (Underwood) Mahan. She passed away February 10, 2011 in Tulsa, OK.
Florida married Jerry Wildcat in June of 1968. They had been married 26 years when he passed away in June of 1994. She was a retired seamstress. Florida enjoyed reading and playing on her computer.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Wildcat, Jr. and wife Brandi; daughter, Christie Wildcat and husband Larry Jackson; grandchildren, Ivyjo, Alyssa, Zane, Josh, Zachary, Angel, and Tania; great-grandchildren, Valeree and Tony; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wildcat, Sr.; and parents, James and Sarah Mahan.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
