Funeral Services for Florena Florence Hughes, 84, of Tulsa were held on Aug. 13 in the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry. The Rev. Larry Adams officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery at Sperry.

She was born on June 4, 1924 in Skiatook to Charles T. and Martha (Gaylor) Berkley. She died on Aug. 9, 2008.She was a house wife, when her children were younger she worked at Billie Drug in Turley and later worked at St. Johns hospital. She loved to sew, knit; work on word puzzles and put puzzles together.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia and husband, J.B. Supernaw of Tulsa a son, Orville and wife, Jeneva Gerhardt; five grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles T. and Martha (Gaylor) Berkley, two husbands and all of her brothers and sisters.
