Evelyn Ellen Rose

Funeral Services for Evelyn Ellen Rose, 65, of Sperry, were held Monday, February 16, 2009 at the Sperry Christian Church in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Adam Stang officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket Bearers were Larry Rose, Carl G. Rose, Steve Dressler, Phillip Pridgen, Chad Smith, Jason Johnson and Jim Rose. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Evelyn was born May 14, 1943 in Pawhuska, OK to Delbert Lee and Roxie (Cole) Hilton. She passed away February 11, 2009 in Tulsa, OK.

She worked at Zebco for 12 years. She was a member of the Skiatook Scramblers Square Dancers from 1989-2004 and the Ladies Auxiliary Moose Lodge. She was a member of the Osage County Election Board. She loved to go to the lake to go fishing and camping. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Rose of the home; son, David Rose of Sperry; grandson, Michael Rose of Sperry; daughter-in-law; Lisa Rose-Pridgen and husband Phillip of Sperry; mother, Roxie Hilton of Turley; six sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; six nieces; seven nephews; numerous great- nieces and great-nephews; numerous cousins and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Douglas Duane Rose, Kenneth Wayne Rose, and Carl Jack Rose, Jr.; father, Delbert Hilton; and brother, Johnny Hilton.
