Evelyn Louise Roberts

Funeral services for Evelyn Louise (Wasson) Roberts, 76, of Tulsa, were held Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Community Lighthouse Church in Skiatook, OK. Pastor Bill Taylor and Pastor David King officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Olivia Roberts, Becky Pruitt, Kristen Metzger, Waylon Roberts, KJ Shook and Chasity Teel. Honorary casket bearers were David DeGeer, Misty Harvey, Gary Mackey, Tammy Walker, Kim Redeagle, and Hayley Jarmon.

Evelyn Louise (Wasson) Roberts was born July 31, 1940 in Tulsa, OK to George Washington and Velma Helen (Brown) Wasson. She passed away July 24, 2017 at the age of 76 years, 11 months, 24 days.

Louise was a bookkeeper for Mistletoe Express, Best Warehouse, and Akin Distributors. She loved playing bingo and going to the casino. She made the best ice cream cakes, macaroni salad and meat patties.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Roberts and wife Karon, Bonnie Roberts, Ronnie Roberts and wife Sheila and Connie Roberts; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; cousin, Raymond Jordan; sister-in-law, Gracie Barlow; brothers-in-law George Roberts, Bobby Roberts and Alvin Roberts; very close friend and caregiver, Kim Redeagle; her cat, Morris; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Lonnie Roberts; parents, George and Helen Wasson; sisters, Inez Lowe and Margaret Broome; son, Wayne Dee Roberts.
