Funeral Services for Ethan Chad Lewis, 9, of Tulsa, were held Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Springdale Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK. The Reverend Jason Pyeatt officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket Bearers were Jason Lewis, Levi McCause, Johnny Wallace, Tel McCause, Eien Lewis, Anthony Tuttle, and Jason Down. Honorary Casket Bearers were Elijah Sanchez, Nina McCause, Gabriel McCause, April Tuttle, Mark Nyman, John McCause, Stephanie Lewis, Montie Dickinson, and Christina Herman. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Ethan was born August 10, 2004 in Tulsa, OK to Jason Chad Lewis and Nittana N. McCause. He passed away January 23, 2014 in Tulsa, OK.

Ethan enjoyed going to church and never missed a Sunday or Wednesday service. He loved playing football, baseball, basketball and video games. Of course, wrestling with his Uncle Tel, and brother Eien, was an evening must. Ethan also loved to go swimming, fishing, and camping. Ethan had a perfect attendance record at school and was the official “go to” person for his teacher and classmates. He was everyone’s friend.

He is survived by his mother, Nittana McCause of Tulsa; father, Jason Lewis of Tulsa; brothers, Gabriel and Eien of Tulsa; sisters, Hailey, Sydney, and Kayla of Tulsa; grandparents, Dencie and Terri McCause of Tulsa, and Frances Lewis of Tulsa; aunt, Nina McCause of Tulsa; uncles, Levi McCause, Tel McCause, and Anthony Lewis all of Tulsa; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Etolia Lewis; paternal grandfather, Allen Wendell Lewis; and great-grandparents, Ada and Bill McCause.
