Ernest Roy "Ernie" Purcell

Memorial Services for Ernest Roy “Ernie” Purcell, 59, of Sperry, were held Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Bill Taylor officiated. Honorary Casket Bearers were Ernie’s Friends at the Chuck Wagon Diner. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Ernie was born January 14, 1955 in Oakland, CA. He passed away February 1, 2014 in Sperry, OK.

Ernie worked as a short order cook at the Chuck Wagon Diner in Sperry. He loved going to the bar, playing pool and singing karaoke. Ernie always liked to see his old friends there. He also loved to watch football. Ernie very much loved his dogs.

He is survived by his two sons, loving friend, Sharon Floyd; and many other relatives and friends.
