Elliott Thomas Boyles

Funeral services for Elliott Thomas Boyles, 68, of Claremore, OK, were held Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK.  Phil Johnson officiated, and burial was in Green Acres Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket bearers were Elliott O’Neil, Jesse Tullos, Amy Tullos, James Boyster, Jamie Boyster, and Autumn Dilldine.

Elliott was born December 4, 1954, in Oil City, PA, to Robert George Boyles, and Vivian Ethel (Lepley) O’Neil. He passed away August 11, 2023, in Tulsa, OK.

Until his retirement in June 2023, Elliott served as a CLEET certified security officer at the Claremore Veterans Center. He also fulfilled roles as a parking lot attendant and greeter at Harvest Baptist Church in Claremore. Elliott held memberships in the York Rites and the Skiatook Masonic Lodge, where he eventually rose to the esteemed position of Master. His younger years were enriched by his involvement with the Boy Scouts, that created a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors including hunting and fishing. Elliott's love for automobiles led him to actively participate in numerous car shows, a that garnered him an impressive collection of trophies and certificates.

He is survived by his daughters, Sara Ryan and husband, Nate, and Andi Madison and husband, Mike; granddaughters, Jasmine Madison, and Schyler Robbins; grandson, Wyatt Ryan; sister, Wilma Heinemeier; nieces and nephews, Amy Tullos and husband, Jesse, Elliott O’Neil and wife, Sylvia, Jamie Boyster and husband, James; great nieces and great-nephews, Carolina, Jillian, Jesse, Jayden, Jenson, and Makaelynn; cousin, Patricia Breitenbach; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Boyles; father, Robert Boyles; mother, Vivian O’Neil; and aunts, Treva McCright, and Hazel Wenner.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
