Funeral Services for Ella May Forestine (Rogers) Moore, 84, of Sperry, were held Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Reverend Al Shults officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket Bearers were Danny Moore, David Elder, Tony Chau, Max Moore, Stephanie Elder, and Toby Thomas. Honorary Casketbearers were Fletcher Moore and Ron Moore. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Ella was born May 11, 1926 in Tulsa, OK to Forest Elijah and Virginia Wood (Lyle) Roger. She passed away July 23, 2010 in Tulsa, OK.

Ella was a homemaker and keeper of her family. She enjoyed shopping with the "three musketeers" and giving to charities. She loved to eat Mexican food and she enjoyed cooking. Ella loved her baby dogs and having pillow talk with her "baby girl" daughter.

She is survived by her daughter, Karin Sue Elder and husband David of Collinsville; sons, Danny Ross Moore and wife Lura of Sperry, and Tony Chau and wife Tuyet of Sperry; granddaughters, Stephanie Elder of Collinsville and Carla Mowery of Collinsville; grandson, Max Moore and wife Melanie of Sperry; great-grandchildren, Dakota Moore and Aspen Moore; half-brother, JR Rogers; half-sister, Rebecca Anderson; step-brother, Bobby Jimmy Louise; step-sister, Louella; nephews, Jackie, Bobby, Fletcher, Ron, Mike, Charlie, Scott, Levon, and JK; nieces, Jacquelen, Ann, Jessie, Twilla, and Mary; numerous others that consider her to be their "Nana."

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Denver R. Moore; parents, Forest and Virginia Rogers; step-mother, Rebecca Rogers; brother, Charles Rogers; sisters, Francis Smiley and Rosemary Shatwell; half-brother, Freddie Rogers; and step-sister, Helen.
