Funeral Services for Earlene Brunk, 86, of Tulsa, were January 8, 2008 in the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry.
The Reverend Rex Woodfork officiated and burial was in the Avant Cemetery at Avant, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Sperry.
Pallbearers were Dale Wright, Jason Longmire, Max Richardson and Roy Smith.
She was born on June 15, 1921 in Avant to William Earl and Mary Clarissa (Huffman) McCoy.
She died on January 4, 2008.
She was known for constantly quilting and crocheting. She was wonderful with a variety of arts and crafts, especially painting. She was a great cook. She was able to do anything she set her mind to, including laying carpet and putting in the kitchen sink.
Survivors are her son, John O. Wright; sister, Wanda Rhamy; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; five nieces; three nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Ira S. Wright in 1954 and Bodie B. Brunk in 1979; sons, Earl L. Wright and Jerry Wright; mother, Mary Clarissa (Huffman) McCoy; father, William Earl McCoy; grandsons, Jackie Dean Wright and Samuel Scott Fisher; two sisters; and two brothers.
