Funeral services for Druscilla “Trudy” Miller, 72, of Sperry, were held Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Elder Charles Rowden and Elder Phyllis Gaddy officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Lee Miller, Heather Byrd, B.J. McBride, Jim Ross Miller, Amanda Foster, and Roman Shackelford. Honorary casket bearers were Chipper Brown, Chris Miller, Joshua Miller, and all of her Safeway/Homeland Coworkers.

Druscilla was born September 17, 1942 in Tulsa, OK to Howard and Marcile (Palmer) Miller. She passed away May 12, 2015 in Skiatook, OK.

Druscilla graduated from Sperry High School as part of the Class of 1960 and was a big “Pirate Fan.” She worked at Safeway/Homeland warehouse from 1965 until 1986. She worked as a fork lift operator, order filler, and a packer. Druscilla was a huge OU fan and her prized possession was her Bob Stoops autographed football. Her favorite color was red. Growing up, her bedroom was painted red. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church. Druscilla loved to travel and had visited many states including Alaska and Hawaii. She was an Elvis and Don Ho fan. She enjoyed watching old movies, Wheel of Fortune, and Dr. Phil.

She is survived by her Uncle Donnie and Aunt Vickie Palmer of Cleveland, OK; Aunt Nellie Ashmore of Tulsa; Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Linda Miller of Sperry; Aunt Jean Miller of Sperry; many cousins and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Marcile Miller.
