Dorman Ray Crites

Memorial services for Dorman Ray Crites, 90, of Skiatook, were held Monday, November 9, 2015 at Cincinnati Avenue Church of Church in Sperry, OK. Reverend Lucian Farrar officiated. Honorary casket bearers were Steve Pooler, Paul Crites, Mike Pooler, Ronnie Crites, and Randy Smith.

Dorman was born December 31, 1924 in Russellville, AR to James Elmer and Mary Virlon (McAnulty) Crites. He passed away November 5, 2015 in Skiatook, OK.

Dorman was born in Arkansas but moved to Kansas and lived there for many years. He was a veteran of the United Stated Army and was honorably discharged. Dorman was a retired mechanic. He loved living by the lake and going fishing.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Smith and husband Robert; nephews, Steve Pooler, Mike Pooler, Paul Crites, Ronnie Crites, and Randy Smith; nieces, Jamie Jones and Lisa Hamil Howe; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Crites; brother, Dewey Crites and wife Geneva; and sister, Bobby Ann Pooler and husband Mose Art Pooler.
