Donna S. Taylor

Funeral Services for Donna Sue (Steffens) Taylor, 66, of Sperry, were held Monday, January 13, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Turley, OK. The Reverend Al Shults officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket Bearers were Tim Taylor, Robert Cantrell, Jason Cantrell, Roger Taylor, Charles Sain, and Andy Taylor. Honorary Casket Bearers were Ronald Taylor, Brian Cantrell, Michael Morrison, James Campbell, and Lucas Tipton. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Donna was born September 4, 1947 in Miami, OK to John Rubin and Lucille (Reed) Steffens. She passed away January 8, 2014 in Tulsa, OK.

Donna was a Registered Nurse for Saint Francis and St. John’s Hospitals in Tulsa. She was a Sunday school teacher and Sunday school superintendent. Donna loved to sing and quiet time with her husband, Dan.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Dan Taylor of Sperry; children, John Taylor of Chelsea, Mark Taylor and wife Tina of Collinsville, Sherry Morrison and husband Michael of Sperry, Kimberly Tipton and husband Lucas of Tulsa, and Danna Lingo and husband David of Tulsa; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; mother, Lucille Steffens of Miami; sister, Linda Ralston of Tulsa; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Steffens; and grandmother, Mae Reed.
