Funeral services for Diana Kay (Eslick) Lohnbakken, 70, of Broken Arrow, OK, were held Monday, June 10, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Phil Johnson officiated, and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Grant Lohnbakken, Cayden Lohnbakken, Chris Payne, Jeff Whiteman, John Blakney, and Raymond Whiteman. Honorary Casket bearers were Paul Stokes and Charles Stokes.
Diana was born February 15, 1954, in Tulsa, OK, to Allen Grant Eslick and Lily Jo (Burden) Eslick. She passed away June 3, 2024, in Broken Arrow, OK.
Diana was born in Tulsa but raised in the Turley area. She graduated from McLain High school with the class of 1972. After high school, Diana attended Tulsa Community College for a brief period. She later went on to work for a finance company in Tulsa until she met and married her husband, Ralph Lohnbakken. They had been married for 45 years. Diana gave birth to their son, Grant in August of 1978, and after Grant was born, she started cleaning homes and became a leader in the Boy Scouts organization. She enjoyed homeschooling Grant from his middle school years until his graduation. Diana was a member of the Turley First United Methodist Church all of her life. She loved spoiling her grandkids, and spending time with her family whenever she could.
She is survived by her son, Grant Lohnbakken and wife, Toni; grandson, Cayden Lohnbakken; granddaughter, Lynnley Lohnbakken; sister, Phyllis Stokes and husband, Paul; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Lohnbakken; parents, Allen and Lily Eslick; and brother, Larry Eslick and wife, Debbie.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
