David Roy "King David" Prestridge

David Roy “King David” Prestridge, 60, of Skiatook, OK was born August 27, 1961, in Tulsa, OK, to Elbert Leroy and Nellie Alice (Sisk) Prestridge. He passed away December 21, 2021, in Tulsa, OK.

David graduated from Skiatook High School in 1981. That same year, he married Margie May. He and Margie were married for 40 years. David’s faith was important to him; he had an online ministry where he posted sermons and connected with people through email. Family was also important to David.

He is survived by his wife, Margie Prestridge of Skiatook; children, David John Prestridge and daughter-in-law, Danielle of Sand Springs, James Prestridge and daughter-in-law, Amanda of Broken Arrow, Elizabeth Prestridge and son-in-law, Leo Conn of OK,  Moneta Hess and son-in-law, Tyler of Skiatook, Jeffrey Prestridge and daughter-in-law, Jessica of Skiatook, and daughter-in-law, Karlee Grana of Nowata; grandchildren, Cassandra, Kristopher, Maylene, Luna, Rylie, Louvinia, Joe, Leo, Logan, Sorin, Eisely, Willow, Fae, Garrett and Lenore; father, Elbert Prestridge; siblings, Claude Prestridge, Laura Jean Downs, Dale Prestridge, LeeAnn Smith, and Neoma Conley; his dog, Bruce (a girl); and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Prestridge.
