David Lee Barok

Funeral services for David Lee Barok, 73, of Sand Springs, OK, were held Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Brother Tom Bearrick officiated, and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Shane Barok, Terry Scott, Glenn Barok, Corby Smock, Billy Ray Cooper, and Michael Rials.

David was born April 22, 1949, in Sand Springs, OK, to Henry Barok and Ollie Mae (McFarland) Barok. He passed away November 13, 2022, in Sand Springs, OK.

David worked in the manufacturing industry for over 40 years. He was a welder/fitter, leadman, foreman and supervisor for McElroy Manufacturing for 15 years. David enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on various cars, and computer research. He really enjoyed taking road trips to Branson, MO, and going to watch the races at the Super Nationals in Boone, IA.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Jane “Janey” Barok; daughter, Melissa Kay Rials; sons, David Shane Barok and Glenn Edward Barok; grandchildren, Michael Christian Rials, Jennifer Christiana Rials and Hailey Alana Barok; sisters, Glinda Cooper and Barbara Pittman; and brother, Gary Barok; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Barok and Ollie Mae Barok; sisters, Mary Muns and Shirley Matthewson; and brother, Don Barok.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
