Danny Eugene Teague

Funeral services for Danny Eugene Teague, 50, of Sperry, OK, were held Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Pastor Mike Thomas officiated.

Danny was born September 28, 1972, in Tulsa, OK, to Floyd Eugene Teague and Carolyn Margreete (Tuggle) Teague. He passed away September 14, 2023, in Tahlequah, OK.

Danny was raised in Sperry. He loved his family and loved spending as much time with them as he could. He enjoyed exploring the outdoors and was so excited every time he found arrowheads, meteorites, geodes, and other unique rocks. He had a knack for finding things with his metal detector. Danny was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation and had an immense love for his Indian heritage, culture, and history. He had the kindest, most giving heart and always helped those in need, even if it meant he went without.

He is survived by his son, Colt and wife, Katrina; grandson, William “Willie”; parents, Eugene and Carolyn; sister and brother-in-law, Gina and James; nieces and nephews, Cheyenne, Nicole, Walker, Brandon, and James, II;7 great-nieces and nephews; grandmother, Nettie; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
