Danney "Dan" King

Memorial services for Danney “Dan” King, 78, of Owasso, OK, were held Friday, March 25, 2022, at Friendship Baptist Church in Owasso, OK. Pastor Richard Edwards officiated, and a private interment will take place at a later date in Idaho. Honorary Casket bearers were all of Danney’s family and friends.

Dan was born August 12, 1943, in Joplin, MO, to Woodrow Wilson and Opal Irene (Phillips) King passed away March 18, 2022, in Tulsa, OK.

Dan was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Owasso. He was a superintendent for several large construction businesses and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working with computers.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Johnson; daughters, Judith Smith and Jeri King of Pritchard, ID; granddaughters, Breaunna Yamaoka, and Brittany King; great-grandson, James Owen Geisy of Fresno, CA; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Opal King; and sister, Joyce Pfeiffer.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
