Memorial services for Curtis Ray “Curt” Wilson, 83, of Sperry, were held Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home in Sperry, OK. Reverend Bill Taylor officiated.
Curtis was born April 10, 1931 in Mountainburg, AR to David and Bessie (Stokes) Wilson. He passed away February 2, 2015 in Tulsa, OK.
Curtis retired from Boeing. He was part of the Shiners. Curtis was also a realtor and rancher. He was an avid coon hunter. Curtis enjoyed visiting with people. He was a collector of junk. Curtis served in the Air Force. He loved playing in the dirt with his dozer. Curtis loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren for they were the light of his life. He loved attending their ballgames and he taught them how to drive. Curtis told all the kids there were bears upon the hill.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Wilson; son, Doug Wilson and wife Char of Skiatook; daughters, Judy Mills of Smithville, OK, Karen Leathwood of Owasso, OK, Dawn Lee of North Carolina; step-son, Ronnie Hurd of Skiatook, OK; step-daughter, Ronda Cole of Skiatook, OK; brother, David Wilson of Sperry, OK; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents David and Bessie Wilson; sister, Lucille Wilde; niece, Sheran Wilde; nephew, Co Wilde.
