Funeral Services for Clarence Orvel Hagan, 87, of Owasso were held Monday January 5, 2009 at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Charles Rowden officiated and burial was in the Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK. Casket Bearers were Bill Williams, Ryan Ridley, Ethan Hale, Brandon Hale Scotty Hagan, Shannon Hagan, and Justin Hagan. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
Orvel was born July 29, 1921 in Hulbert, OK to Edley Milton and Carrie Jane (Wilkey) Hagan. He passed away January 1, 2009 in Owasso, OK.
He was an army veteran of WWII and was stationed in Iceland as an ambulance driver. He entered the service when it still had horse Calvary units.
He worked at the lightweight plant for Chandler Materials. He enjoyed making or building anything especially when welding. He loved to tinker with cars and made a lot of two wheel trailers, some big and some small. He was always busy with plenty of things to do and could always find plenty of things for everybody. He was a wonderful person and was always willing to help anyone in need.
He is survived by his sons Larry Hagan and wife Linda, Clarence Hagan and wife Geneva, daughter, Mary Louise Hale and husband Johnny; 22 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary Louella Hagan, three brothers and two sisters.
