Chrystol Joyce (Burt) Wilson

Funeral services for Chrystol Joyce (Burt) Wilson, 66, of Tulsa, were Wednesday, January 9, 2008 in the Southwood Baptist Church in Tulsa.
The Reverend Charles Cruce and Pastor Don Queen officiated. Burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery at Sperry, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Sperry.
Pallbearers were Steve Patterson, Marshall Hill, Jimmy Burt, Ken Cottrell, Roy Jennings and Wayne Pruitt.
Pianist was Rita Runyon. Vocalists were Jim and Rita Runyon.
She was born on December 17, 1941 in Coweta to Jim Sr. and Esther (Dobbs) Burt. She passed away on January 5, 2008.
She attended Sperry High School where she graduated as valedictorian.
She married and had a daughter, Dana Michele Maybee.
She worked in the accounting department at North American Rockwell for 10 years. She owned and operated a ladies boutique, Miss Chrystol's, for five years.
It was there that she met Bill Wilson. They were married on May 3, 1976 and last May they celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary.
She ardently studied the Bible and often shared her faith and words of encouragement with others, many of whom were ladies she met in chemotherapy treatments.
She is survived by her husband, Bill W. Wilson; daughter, Michele Patterson and husband Steve; granddaughter, Jessica Marie Patterson; mother, Esther (Dobbs) Burt; brothers, Jim Burt and Paul Burt; five nephews; four nieces; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
