Funeral services for Charles Edward “Chuck” Swindell, Jr., 63, of Collinsville, OK, were held Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Rhema Bible Church in Broken Arrow, OK. Pastor Steve Lee and Pastor Bill Ray officiated, and burial was in Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK. Casket bearers were Tyler Swindell, Tony Gayton, Chris Pillars, DeWayne Hutchins, Myke Venekamp, Christopher Pillars, Tommy Sherwood, and Nichalos Swindell. Honorary Casket bearers were Harold Pillars, Randy McKisick, Robert Buttram, Carl Mustain and Walter Swindle.
Chuck was born January 12, 1961, in Tulsa, OK, to Charles Edward Swindell, Sr. and Stella Adeline (Burt) Swindell. He passed away September 21, 2024, in Owasso, OK.
Chuck was a business owner and truck driver for Charlie’s Trailers. In his free time, he loved to go fishing, and traveling, and chilling in his recliner. His favorite meal was fried chicken, and his favorite drink was a Mountain Dew & Sprite mix. He loved the Lord and was an active member at River Worship Center. Chuck never knew a stranger; he had the biggest heart and was a generous giver. He was family oriented and spoiled everyone he loved.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Charity Swindell; children, Nichalos Swindell, Clarissa Venekamp and husband, Myke, Tyler Swindell and wife, Haylee, and Caleb Swindell; grandchildren, Charles Miner, Kiersten Swindell, Mahlia Swindell, Leighton Swindell, Kennadi Swindell, Peyton Swindell, and Nova Swindell; sisters, Lisa Pillars and husband, Harold, Elaine Kenny, Kathleen McKisick and, husband, Randy, Charlotte Moss and husband, Larry, and Charlene Martin and husband, Roger; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Stella Swindell; and brother-in-law, Pat Kenny.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
