Charles Lynn Lee, 71, of Tulsa, OK, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025. Born in Palo Alto, CA on February 22, 1953, to Eugene Lee and Ruth M. (Lackey) Lee, Charles graduated from McLain High School, where he was a proud member of both the dive team and the cross-country team. After high school, he proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy.
Following his military service, Charles enjoyed a fulfilling career as a foundry supervisor at Metal Dynamics, where he dedicated over 30 years to the company. His work ethic and commitment to his craft were unmatched, and he took great pride in his role. Outside of his professional life, Charles was a man of many passions. He had an unwavering love for red dirt music, and his Harley Davidson motorcycle was often seen roaring down the road on his weekend rides. Charles had a deep appreciation for nature, particularly when it came to rock hunting and camping with his family, where he created lasting memories with those he loved. A true craftsman, Charles spent his spare time creating beautiful jewelry and custom metal works, turning his creative energy into stunning pieces that will be cherished for years to come.Charles was a devoted family man who loved supporting his grandchildren in whatever sports they pursued. His enthusiasm and presence at their games were a testament to how much he adored being a part of their lives.Above all, Charles was a passionate Buffalo Bills fan, known for his unwavering loyalty to the team, no matter the season. His love for the game, and for the Bills, was a constant source of joy and camaraderie for him and his loved ones.
Charles' memory will forever be cherished, and his love for his family, his country, and his passions will continue to inspire those who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Debra L. Lee; sons, Charles E. Lee and Charles L. Lee. Jr.; daughter, Lindsey Bishop; bonus son, Jeromy McMorris; sister, Martha Alford; a multitude of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and all the in-laws he could stand who will carry on his legacy of love, devotion, and adventure; and many other relatives and friends.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Ruth Lee; brother, Larry Lee; and sister, Kimberley (Lee) Fitzgerald.
