Carrie Ella Hamblin

Funeral Services for Carrie Ella Hamblin, 65 of Skiatook were held on Friday August 1, 2008 in the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry. The Rev. Charles Matlock officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry. She was born on October 16. 1942 in Turley, Oklahoma to Albert and Sylvia (Humphery) Robinson. She died on July 29, 2008 Honorary pallbearers included Mark "Bandit" Owens, Jesse Marsh, Will Hamblin, Jerry Wildcat, Jeff Mears, Wally Richardson and Robert Chance.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going camping, taking long drives and walking by the lake with her husband. She worked as a housekeeper by trade. She also liked to take or "steal" your change, if you had any that is, and collect knick knacks. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Hamblin of the home, three daughters, Juanita Michelle Owens of Turley, Tammy Sue Hamblin of Sperry and Carrie Renee Marsh of Tulsa,  a son, Tony Glenn Hamblin of Sperry; two sisters, Sue Richardson and Fran Wingfield, a brother, Everett Robinson, nine grandchildren, Billy Hamblin, Jennifer Owens, Anthony Hamblin, Brandon Hamblin, Crystal Hamblin, Derrick Hamblin, Clint Hamblin, Joseph Hamblin and Jessica Marsh; six great grandchildren, Anaka Owens, Heather Hamblin, Michael Hamblin, Cody Downing, Jacob Downing and Tony Hamblin.

She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Sylvia Robinson, a brother, Bob Robinson, a sister, Dothra Arnett, a granddaughter, Ashley Marsh, two nephews, Lloyd Wingfield and David Robinson and a niece, Paula Long.
