Caroline Sue Vester

Caroline Sue (Griffith) Vester, 78, of Sperry, OK, passed away December 5, 2021, in Sperry, OK. She was born December 3, 1943, in Tulsa, OK, to Chester Waverly and Mable Josephine (Hunt) Griffith.

Caroline married her beloved husband David of 52 years in 1970. She worked at Oral Roberts University from 1970 to 1977 before becoming a full-time, stay-at-home mother. Caroline was the church secretary at The Assembly of God Church in Sperry for many years. She enjoyed spending her time with her husband, daughter, granddaughter, son-in-law, brothers and sisters, and telling others about Jesus.

She is survived by her husband, David Vester; daughter, April (Vester) Brace and husband, J.C.; granddaughter, Josie Sue Brace; siblings, Doris Jones, Don Griffith, Darlene West, and Bill Griffith; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Mable Griffith; and siblings, Jim Griffith, Ron Griffith, Charles Griffith, and Barbara Griffith.

Arrangements were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
