Graveside services for Carl Wesley Easky, of Skiatook, were held February 7, 2013 at Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Phillip Johnson officiated. Casket bearers were James Easky, Buster Easky, Chris Easky, Jeremiah Beaver, Jim Nelson, and Robert Powers.
Carl Wesley Easky was born December 1, 1940 in Skiatook, OK. He passed away February 2, 2013 in Skiatook, OK at the age of 72.
After graduating high school in 1960, he fulfilled his goal of serving proudly in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Tortuga. He married his life soul mate Sandra Sue Cox in 1967. He wrote “Not much more to say. A person is born. They live. They die. We start with a wail. We go with a sigh. It’s as it should be.”
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Sue (Cox) Easky; son, James Ray Easky; daughter, Emagene Michelle Powers; brother, Charles Eugene Easky; five grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a few good dogs that are all much loved.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Wayne Henry Easky and Leonard Richard Easky.
