Funeral services for Carl Jack Rose, 73, of Owasso, were held Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Sperry Christian Church in Sperry, OK. Pastor Adam Stang officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Carl Gene Rose, Phillip Pridgen, Jimmy Rose, Toby Thomas, Shean Williams, and Jim Morris. Honorary casket bearers were Michael Duane Rose, Les Thomas, Larry Rose, Ray Estep, Jim Rose, Jim Collins, and Justin Morris.
Carl was born February 17, 1942 in Tulsa, OK to Carl Adrian Rose and Norlene Elizabeth (Jones) Box. He passed away May 9, 2015 in Tulsa, OK.
Carl proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He was retired from ONG after working there for 32 years. Carl was a bus driver for Owasso Public Schools for eight years. He was a member of the Tulsa Chapter of the Moose Lodge. Carl enjoyed going to the lake and boating. He also loved square dancing and riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his son, David Eugene Rose and wife Debby; daughter-in-law, Lisa Rose-Pridgen and husband, Phillip; grandson, Michael Duane Rose; siblings, Norma Taber and husband Byrl, Larry Rose and wife Glenda, Jim Rose, and Betty Gilbert; brother-in-law, Jim Collins and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Rose; sons, Kenneth, Baby Rose, and Douglas Rose; sister, Linda Collins; father, Carl Rose, mother, Norlene Box; and grandmother, Ruth Rogers.
