Buel Leon Jones

Funeral Services for Buel L. Jones, 77, of Tulsa, were Monday, January 7, 2008 at the Floral Haven Mausoleum Chapel in Broken Arrow. The Reverend Dr. Curtis Linton officiated and entombment was at the Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Sperry.
Pallbearers were Larry Hudson, Lloyd Wayne, Donald Hudson, Gary Hudson, Phillip Hudson, Tony Hudson and Cecil Hudson.
Honorary pallbearers were Dale Cowan, Bill Cowan, Forrest Cowan, Robert Jones, Kent McCain, Greg Cowan, Ron Cowell, Cecil Jones and Dude Hammons;
He was born on January 31, 1930 in Sperry to Clyde and Mildred (Burdett) Jones. He died on January 3, 2008.
He was retired from Hinderlighter Co. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jones of Tulsa; grandchildren, Robert Jones and wife Rana of Owasso, and Becky McCain and husband Kent of Claremore; great-grandchildren, Kyle Jones, Braden Jones, Kylee McCain and Lawson McCain; brothers, Cecil Jones and Bobbie Thames of Okmulgee; and sister, Ireatha Hammons and husband Dude of Claremore.
