Brett Mikeal Woodard

We regretfully announce the passing of Brett Mikeal Woodard, of Miami, OK. He was surrounded by his loved ones on January 2, 2024, at the age of 31. Brett had a fast, difficult battle with brain cancer and is finally at rest.

Brett was born August 24, 1992, in Miami, OK, to Sarah Ann (Mathis) Unsell and Timothy Scott Woodard.

Brett left this world too soon but not without a mark. He loved spending time with his family. Brett’s personality would light up the room. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and ability to make everyone laugh.

He is survived by his parents, Sarah Unsell and husband, Ricky of Midwest City and Tim and Rhonda Woodard of Owasso; sisters, Kaitlyn Rodgers, Sydney Unsell, Brittani Miller, Dusti Morgan, Chelsea Yearout and Kenedie Compton; brother, Cameron Floyd; grandmother, Lana Morgan, of Miami; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harvey and Dolores Woodard, Bruce Morgan, Sr., and Tootie Chaney; uncle, Bruce Morgan, Jr; and cousins, Alicia Woodard, Gracie Morgan and Christopher Woodard.

Brett will forever be loved and remembered. We appreciated your love and support during this difficult time.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
