Brenda Gail (Huckleby) Roe

Funeral services for Brenda Gail (Huckleby) Roe, 70, of Sperry, OK, were held Monday, January 30, 2023, at Eastside Baptist Church in Collinsville, OK. Pastor Michael Nunn officiated. Casket bearers were Zach Morrison, John Deckard, Gary Oliver, Billy Huckleby, and Jason Riley. Honorary Casket bearers were Brandon Huckleby, Thomas Johnson, and Mason Adkisson.

Brenda was born September 30, 1952, in Muskogee, OK, to Arthur Lee Huckleby and Mildred Beatrice (Harrison) Huckleby. She passed away January 24, 2023, in Tulsa, OK.

Brenda was a full-time mother and homemaker. She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, reading, spending time with her family and reading her Bible. Brenda loved all of her family as well as anyone who wasn’t family the same. She had a hug that could melt everyone’s problems and stress away, even if for just a moment. She was loved dearly and will forever be missed. 

She is survived by husband, Alton Roe; children, Michelle Hill and husband, Brandon, Nicole Adkisson and husband, Jason, and Toni Roe; grandchildren, Nick Roe and wife, Elizabeth, Zach Morrison and wife, Jordan, Jake Hill, Sophie Hill, Brandon Adkisson, Mason Adkisson, Zach Sanchez, and Mika Hobia; great-grandchildren, Chase Roe, Paisley Roe, Xander Roe, Serena Roe, Malia Hobia, and Melanie Hobia; brothers, George Huckleby and Dean Huckleby; sister, Debra Huckleby, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Hank Roe; parents, Arthur and Mildred Huckleby; brothers, Roger Huckleby, Larry Huckleby, and Dewayne Huckleby; sisters, Janet Sisco, Charlotte Deckard, and Donna Johnson.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
