Funeral services for Bonnie Aline (Martin) Ginn, 89, of Sperry, OK, were held Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Osage Oaks Church of God in Sperry, OK. Pastor Todd Tiffin, Pastor Mike Thomas, Pastor Mitch Leonard officiated, and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Dan Oller, Joe Ginn, Bruce Oller, Robert Chitseko, Michael Ginn, Cisco Chavez, and Ethan Oller. Honorary Casket bearers were Gene Harris II, Shiloh Harris, Aaron Harris, Kody Harris, Jerod Harris, and Colton Harris.
Bonnie was born June 14, 1934, in Eufaula, OK, to General Lee Martin and Ellen May (Brown) Martin. She passed away April 17, 2024, in Sperry, OK.
Bonnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a devoted pastor’s wife and was a Sunday school teacher, youth leader, leader of the Women’s Ministry and Meals on Wheels program for Osage Oaks Church of God in Sperry. In her younger years, Bonnie was an outstanding athlete, playing basketball and softball; she was even the basketball homecoming queen and named as one of the softball team’s most valuable players.
She is survived by her husband, Doyle Ginn of Sperry; children, Cherry Hardie and husband, Steve, Craig Ginn and wife, Kim, Sherry Harris and husband, Gene, and Mary Bushyhead and husband, Tim; 18 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Jodie Grider, Wilma Burns, Ella June Helms and Carol McQuay; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Leon Oller; grandsons, Jeff Hardie and Robert Bushyhead; great-granddaughter, Stella Rae Lott; parents, General and Ellen Martin; and brothers, Thomas Martin, Jerry Martin, and Harold Martin.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
