Funeral services for Bonnie Winnona Benhardt, 77, of Tulsa, were held Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Reverend Charles Rowden officiated and burial was in Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket bearers were Jimmy Willhite, Kyle Willhite, Rocky Brown, Jerry Wildcat, and Bailey Cummins.
Bonnie was born December 25, 1932 in Goodman, MO to Bill and Francis (Mitchell) Shockley. She passed away November 19, 2010 in Tulsa, OK.
Bonnie was a healthcare worker. She made donations to Feed the Children and also made donations to the church. She loved playing dominoes and visiting with her friends. Bonnie loved life and all of the people in it. She would do anything that anyone needed her to. Her husband and three grandchildren loved her very much and we all find comfort in knowing that we will be together someday in the eternal life. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Bonnie will be forever in our hearts.
She is survived by; daughter, Rose Sanseverino; granddaughter, Megan and husband Jimmy Willhite; great-grandsons, Kyle Wayne Willhite and Devin James Willhite; 3 more great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Alisha Benhardt; sister-in-law, Mildred Shockley; niece, Linda Taylor; nephews, Clay Leisinger and Richie Carlson and wife Nancy; two great-nephews, one great niece; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Benhardt; son, Blane Benhardt; son-in-law, James Leisinger; parents, Bill and Frances Shockley; sister, Maxine Leisinger; brothers, Burley Shockley, Clearance Shockley and Alvin Shockley; and two great nephews.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
