Delmar Blake Lewis was born March 6, 1934 in Galveston, TX to Blake Lewis and Ada Evaughn (Davis) Sheehan. He passed away July 27, 2013 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 79.
Blake served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He retired as a truck driver from Texas Oklahoma Express. After retiring from TOX, Blake worked for Yellow Freight for a short time then went to work at Verdigris Valley Electric Corp (VVEC) in Collinsville. He loved fishing, hunting, team roping and lending a hand to those in need.
He is survived by his children, Sheila Walker and husband Kenny of Broken Arrow, Michele Beach and husband Orman of Patchogue, NY, Grace Viscuso and husband Mitch of Southampton, NY, Evaughn Laspesa and husband Charlie of Plymouth, NY, and Robert Lewis of Tahlequah; grandchildren, Kennan Walker, Kendall Walker, and Chelsea Walker all of Broken Arrow, Angela Viscuso of Southampton, NY, Abby Larimore of Inola, and Colt Larimore of Claremore; sisters, Ada Inbody of Cody, WY, Laura Hix of Tahlequah, and Tonya Goesch-Hernandez of Tulsa; aunt, Doris Davis of Cottonwood, AZ; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Blake Lewis; and mother and step-father, Evaughn and Loren Sheehan.
