Billy Ray Ford

Funeral Services for Billy Ray Ford, 67, of Haskell, were held Monday, October 20, 2014 at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Adam Stang officiated and a private family interment followed. Casket Bearers were Steven Ford, Phillip Mayfield, R.C. Martin, Leslie Martin, James Harris and Jeremiah Ford. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Billy was born January 13, 1947 in Dumas, TX to Carl and Evelyn (Brown) Ford. He passed away October 15, 2014 in Haskell, OK.

Billy was long haul truck driver for many years. He was an avid car enthusiast, and enjoyed horseback riding, playing pool, listening to old music, and old westerns. Billy loved all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, He was one heck of a family man and loved everyone.

He is survived by his children, Gina Harris of Haskell, Fred Ford of Hominy, Bill Redman of LA, Linda Stephens, Vickie Martin, Lois Rowe, Joyce Short, Brenda Rowe, Kenny Romich, Leon Martin, and Billy Martin; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl, Sr. and Evelyn Ford; son, Robert Ford; wife, Jessie Ford; brother, Carl Ford, Jr.; and sister, Wanda Ford.
