Funeral Services for Becky Darlene Palone, 67, of Oologah, were held Thursday, March 19, 2009 at the Miracles of Faith Church in Collinsville, OK. The Reverend David Bilby and Jim Carney officiated and burial was in the Wann Cemetery in Collinsville, OK. Casket Bearers were Bryan Hope, Buster Evans, Chuck Hope, Robbie Hope, Rod Henry, and Jerry McMillen. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Becky was born August 7, 1941 in Collinsville, OK to Charles William and Lucy Annalee (Brazeal) Hope. She passed away March 16, 2009 in Tulsa, OK.

She was a homemaker. She loved to read, go fishing and working in the garden. She will be greatly missed by all who came to know her throughout the years.

She is survived by her husband, John Robert Palone of Oologah; daughter, Tonya and husband Larry Newton of Collinsville; sons, John Robert Palone, II of Oologah, and James Derek Palone also of Oologah,; grandchildren, Joseph Derek Palone, Colton McCaw, Ethan Wayland, and Ciara Palone; great-grandson, Ayden Lee Smoke; mother, Lucy A. Staires of Oologah; brothers, Jimmy C. Hope of White Oak, TX, Jackie R. Hope of Owasso, Jim Staires of Broken Arrow, and Bob Staires of Houston, TX; and a host of many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles W. Hope; step-father, Les H. Staires; granddaughter, Jessica Ann Wayland; and sister, Joyce A. Evans.
