Graveside services for Barbara Louise Maher, of Sand Springs, were held Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, OK. Reverend Chet Veazey officiated.
Barbara was born November 16, 1943 in Kansas City, MO to Ralph and Minnie B. (Kennedy) Beckwith-Black. She passed away March 25, 2012 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 68.
Barbara was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt and loved by all. She worked as an EKG Technician at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa for many years. Barbara was also a housewife and mother. She later became a professional garage sale entrepreneur with her large collection of purses, dolls, and other items she kept her family supplied in. Barbara also loved going to Wal-Mart.
She is survived by her husband, Donny Maher of Sand Springs; children, Kenneth “Troy” Mahan and wife Carol of Tulsa, Brian Wayne Mahan of Kansas City, MO, Cindy Dodd of Tulsa, Lori Ann Maher of Tulsa, Donny Joe Maher of Sand Springs; mother, Minnie Black of Tulsa; sisters, Sharon Eskew and husband John of Sand Springs, Sandy Christiansen of Miami, and Pamela Beckwith of MO; brothers, Jerry Duane Beckwith of Grove, and Terry Arbuckle of Germany; brother-in-law, Danny Maher of Tulsa; son-in-law, David Ferrell of Tulsa; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Robert Maher; father, Ralph Beckwith; and brother, Larry Arbuckle.
