Funeral services for Armilda Geraldine Peevey, 57, of Sperry, were Monday, March 17 in the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry.
The Rev. Don Queen officiated and interment was in the Rest Haven Cemetery at Sperry, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Sperry.
She was born on Dec. 5, 1950 in Tulsa to Bill Aaron Peevey and Georgia Lee (Valdick) Miller. She passed away on March 14, 2008.
She loved to do crafts, draw, sew, crochet and embroidery. She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and being outdoors.
She is survived by a son, Arthur "Peewee" Funk and Wendy of Bismark, N.D.; special friend, Robert Simmons; mother, Georgia Miller of Muskogee; sisters, Pearl Williams of Kansas, Ok., Hazel Mosier and Larry of Sperry, and Annette Miller and Eddie Martin of Muskogee; brothers, Randall Peevey of Okay, and Dennis and Jenny Miller of Muskogee; brother-in-law, Beech Nelson of Skiatook; many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her nephew, Vincent Funk; father, Bill Peevey; stepfather, Mickey Miller; and grandparents, aunts, uncles and other family members. Family and friends can sign the guestbook at www.johnsonfhsperry.com.
