Angela Ruth "Angie" (Wilson) Chappell

Memorial services for Angela Ruth “Angie” (Wilson) Chappell, 50, of Tulsa, OK, will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Reverend Dean Robison will officiate.

Angie was born October 14, 1969 in Tulsa, OK, to Janie Wilson. She passed away February 10, 2020 in Tulsa, OK.

Angie was beautiful and unique in her own way. She was truly one of a kind. Angie loved and was loved by so many throughout her life. She believed with her whole heart that everyone was part of her family. She loved anything that was butterflies and angels. As her mother, I was told when Angie was 5 that she had a mind of her own and she proved that to be true. She always kept me on my toes. When she was just 3 years old, she could sing “Delta Dawn” from front to back, never missing a single word. It is difficult to understand why she cannot be here with us but, there is also peace in knowing that the Lord has come and taken her to his mansion in the sky. My beautiful daughter, I love you as big as the sky. I know you are looking down on us and I hope you are able to see how much you are loved and how greatly you are missed by all. Angie would want me to tell you to please spend as much time as you can with your loved ones, even if it’s just a few minutes. You never know who might not be with you the next time and you cannot ever get that time back. Life is too short. Technology is great but, to be able to see a loved one’s face and hear their voice is PRICELESS!

She is survived by her children, John “J.C.” Hardesty and wife, Brandi, Samanthe Hardesty, Elizabeth Hardesty, Christopher Hardesty; step-children, Marvin Welsh, and Ava Welsh; grandchildren, Dion Mack, Ezekiel Perrin, Zoey Hardesty, Little J.C. Hardesty, Corbin Sickles, Patience Sickles, Trenton Douglas and Madison Douglas; mother, Janie Wilson; sister, Ginny Camel; aunts, Marie Simmons, Sandra Wilson, and Paula Lavender; uncles, Greg Wilson and Larry Wilson; nephews, Jorden Camel, and Dylan Camel; godmother, Helen LePhew; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her step-dad, Tommy Snyder; grandmother, Grace Schwemley; and grandfather, Dave Wilson.

Services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
