Alton Franklin "Rusty" Chism

Funeral Services for Alton Franklin "Rusty" Chism, 47, of Skiatook, were held Wednesday October 29, 2008 at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Charles Rowden officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casketbearers were Dennis Chism, Josh Chism, DJ Chism, Johnny Holmes, Jake Holmes, and Gary Holmes. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Alton was born June 11, 1961 in Tulsa, OK to Alton Kimbrel and Edna Irene "Carr" Chism. He passed away October 25, 2008 in Skiatook, OK.

He worked in construction, and was also a welder on high rise buildings. He enjoyed playing pool and scuba diving. He loved all of his family very much.

He is survived by his; father, Alton Kimbrel; sisters, Sue James, Linda Little, Wendy Schmidkunz, Donna Holmes; brothers, Dennis Chism and Steve Chism; and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Holmes; nephew, Damon Chism.
