Alma Sue Latty

Funeral services for Alma Sue (Gullett) Latty, 72, of Skiatook, were held Friday, February 6, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Pastor Tony Gammel officiated and burial was in Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket bearers were Steven Latty, Phillip Latty, Robert Denny, Bill Spurgeon, David Brackett, and Robert Schawo. Honorary casket bearers were Evan Latty, Tyler Schawo, and Bryce Latty.

Alma was born June 29, 1942 to Ben and Peggy Gullett. She passed away February 1, 2015 in Collinsville, OK.

Alma was the mother of three boys and was married to her husband, James for 54 years. She worked as a product merchandiser for Med-X and as a cashier for Warehouse Market for five years before retiring. Alma loved to fish, go bowling, study her bible, listen to country music and spend time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, James Latty of the home; sons, Jimmy Latty and wife Margie of Skiatook, Michael Latty and wife Sherrie of Sapulpa, and Jerry Latty and wife Cindy of Skiatook; grandchildren, Kelli Schawo and husband Robert, Steven Latty and wife Tiffany, Lacy Brooke Latty, Rebecca Latty, Mikayla Latty and Evan Latty; five  great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Peggy Gullett; sister, Ann Burroughs; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Starling and Betty Latty; brother-in-law, Bob Latty; and nephew, Ronnie Latty.
