Alice Jean (Roberds) Cooper-Spicer, 75, of Tulsa, passed away on August 8, 2010 in Tulsa. She was born July 5, 1935 in McCrory, AR to Frank and Helen (Holmes) Roberds.
Alice Jean lived in Tulsa for the past several years. She was retired from the Burlington Railroad where she was an office secretary. She was loved working with her flower garden and throughout her adult life, she was a caretaker of other people and friends. She was also a loving mother.
She is survived by her son, Billy Gene Cooper and wife Cheryl of Tulsa; granddaughters, Chelcie Cooper, Essie Perryman, and LaRosa Dillard; grandson, DeWayne Perryman Jr. of Patterson, NJ; great-grandchildren, Kymbrazha, Deshy'nea, Damar'e, Antwanique, Eric Jr., Keith, DeMario Jr., LaMari'yon and Ty'Lia "TyeTye"; brothers, Terry Roberds and wife Diana of Enboy, IN and George Roberds of Pontoon Beach, IL; half-sisters, Connie Loomis of East Prairie, MO, Sheila Koster of Moberly, MO, and Annette Nickies of Moberly, MO; sisters-in-law, Letha Roberds of Hillsboro, MO and Betty Roberds of Okmulgee; uncle and aunts, Carrie Hale of East Prairie, MO, Elvis Frank Holmes and wife Sissy of Phoenix, AZ; nieces, Belinda Kay, Cherie Colleen, and Cheryl Tonja; nephews, Gary, Keith, Steven, Mike, Randy, David and Frankie Jr.; cousin, Randy Holmes; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Roberds; uncle, Burtie Hale; brothers, Frank Roberds and Jerry Roberds; sister-in-law, Carolyn Tripp; and mother-in-law, Ethel Tinnon.
