Alice lived a fulfilling life as a loving mother and grandmother, an amazing wife to her husband Ed, a caring sister, and a dear friend to so many. She enjoyed reading, gardening, music, dancing, laughing, and just enjoying life. She cherished her time serving at the Senior Citizens Center and, above all else, helping others.
She is survived by her husband, Ed Pogue; daughters, Teresa Pogue, Marsha Lamkin, and Diana Smith; son, Randy Horton; step-daughters, Janet Wright, Lisa Montgomery, and Anna Edwards; step-son, Robert Pogue; 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter; brothers, Odell Blankenship, Johnny Blankenship, and Donald Blankenship; and an extended community of beloved friends whom she loved as family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Rhoads Holiday; father, John Blankenship; brothers, Lonnie Blankenship and Ronald Blankenship; and grandson, Jeremiah Baker.
