Alice Elizabeth Adams

Funeral services for Alice Elizabeth (Grant) Adams, 95, of Tulsa, were held Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Chapel in Tulsa, OK. Phillip Johnson officiated and burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, OK. Casket bearers were Tom Jenkins, Roger Whitaker, Phil Honeycutt, and Ron Watts. Honorary casket bearers were all of Alice’s grandchildren.

Alice was born June 28, 1920 in Springfield, MO to Howard A. and Myrtle M. (Bean) Grant. She passed away November 19, 2015 in Tulsa, OK.

Tulsa was Alice’s home and she was a lifelong member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Alice spent her final years at Canoe Brook Assisted Living where she was known as “Grandma” to all. The family wishes to thank the staff of Canoe Brook, Evergreen Hospice and St. Francis Hospital for their love, attention and compassionate care.

She is survived by her children, Bob Adams and wife Kay, Roger Adams and wife Jan, Kay Hammons and husband Tom, and Bud Adams; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Norma Watts; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Myrtle Grant; husband, Bill Adams; sister, Ruth Phillips; grandchildren, Beth Hammons, Sarah Adams; great-grandchildren, Christian Hammons, and Devon Hammons.
