Funeral services for Albert Eugene “Gene’ Kramer, of Tulsa, were held Monday, November 5, 2012 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Dr. Chet Veazey officiated and burial was in Fairfax Cemetery in Fairfax, OK. Honorary casket bearers were Jack Phillips, Christian Jensen, Floyd Moore, David Wright, Randy Huddleston, Bob Throckmorton, Larry Dodd, and Bill LaPorte.
Gene was born August 8, 1936 in Fairfax, OK to Edward Glenn, Sr. and Glady Laverne (Walls) Pease. He passed away November 1, 2012 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 76.
Gene led a full life, having served eight years in the United States Navy and 12 years in the Army Reserves and OK National Guard. He was employed as a Sargent at Dick Connor Correctional Center from which he retired after many years of service. After a short time in retirement, Gene returned to the workforce as a lead security guard at Osage Million Dollar Elm Casino in Tulsa. Some of his happiest hours were spent on his Honda Gold Wing in the company of his motorcycle riding friends.
He is survived by his brother, Edward Kramer, Jr. and wife Doris; daughters, Charise Kramer-McComber and Sabrina (Kramer) Peart; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
