Funeral services for Albert Fay Jones, 86, of Kansas, Ok, were held on Wednesday May 14, 2008 in the First Baptist Church in Kansas, Ok.
The Rev. John Crowley officiated and burial was in the Kansas City Cemetery at Kansas, Ok.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Pallbearers were Bryan Hunter, Adam Bradley, Jimmy H. Rankin, Jeff Pruitt, Terry Wafford and Chris Vandever.
Honorary pallbearers were Larry Sartin, Terry Dawn Wafford, James Morgan.
He was born on Dec. 12, 1921 in Turley, to William Westley and Alta May (Cline) Jones. He died on May 9, 2008.
He was raised around Wyandotte. He dropped out of school and went to the CCC camp. He worked as a truck driver in the oil fields, and was a heavy equipment operator in construction around this area, as well as working pipelines. He moved to Kansas, Ok. in 1965, then moved to Clinton, in 1981 to work in the oil fields for a year, and then moved back to Kansas, Ok.
He is survived by daughters, Judy Faye Vandever and Sharin Kay Hopkins of Kansas, Ok.; grandchildren, Donald Vandever of West Siloam Springs, Sherry Vandever of Kansas, Ok., Bryan Hunter of Rogers, Ark; James Morgan of Kansas, Ok., Lisa Gardner of Kansas, Ok., Anita Jones of Colcord, and Tina Jones of Springdale, Ark.; great-grandchildren, Cassandra Gardner, Cierra Gardner-Pruitt, Kristin Lynn, Christopher Vandever, Jimmy Rankin and Destiny Morgan; great-grandchildren, Christopher R. Vandever; Racheal Lynn and Robert Lynn.
He was preceded in death by his son, Alva Wayne Jones; and wife, Matilda "Tilly" Elizabeth Jones.
