Memorial services for A. Nan (Holcomb) Mullins, 87, of Sperry, OK, were held Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at First Baptist Church – Rogers Campus in Skiatook, OK. Reverend Chad Thompson officiated. Honorary Casket bearers were Dustin Charter, Mark Neeley, Jr., Zac Mullins, Landon Mullins, Logan Mullins, Kimberly Cox, Ashely Grems, Casie Miller, Nichole Weeks, Paige Lane and Morgan Hawkins.
Nan was born February 20, 1934, in Olive, OK, to DeWard Carter and Capitola (Schoonover) Holcomb. She passed away October 13, 2021, in Tulsa, OK.
Her family moved to Sperry where her 6 brothers and 1 sister graduated from high school. Nan had many interests, including 4H, Pep Club, cheerleading and home economics. She also played basketball and was the homecoming queen her senior year, 1953. Nan married Orin Mullins on May 28, 1955. They were married 66 years at the time of her passing. She was a devoted mother of 4 children. Nan retired from banking and went on to serve her community through First Baptist Church in Sperry. She also enjoyed her time and travel with her life-long friends.
She is survived by her husband, Orin Mullins; daughters, Patty Johnson and husband, Mike, and Cindy Neeley and husband, Mark; sons, Mike Mullins and wife, Kim, and Tom Mullins and wife, Christy; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Karen Holcomb-Clapp; brother, Pat Holcomb; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, DeWard Holcomb; mother, Capitola Holcomb; and brothers, Curtis Holcomb, Calvin Holcomb, Thomas Holcomb, Milfred Holcomb, and Allan Holcomb.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
