John Virgil Juby, 78, of Owasso, OK was born May 24, 1942 in Sperry, OK to Virgil Webster Juby and Mary Elizabeth (Miller) Shaw. He passed away May 25, 2020 in Owasso, OK.
John was in the Army National Guard. He started his career in banking working as President for Beneficial Finance, as a Cash Controller for Bank of Collinsville, then as Vice-President of Bank of Marietta. He then changed his career path to work in oil fields, constructing and managing work for Santa Fe drilling, then Pride International. He was a manager in the Southeast Asia area, giving them the opportunity to live abroad in such places as Venezuela, Singapore, Spain, U.A.E, Malaysia, Nigeria, and others. They later settled in Grove, OK to see their boys attend high school. He then retired to Owasso to be closer to his grandkids and family. He loved football, especially OU, Owasso and Sperry. He also loved fishing with his wife, family, and many friends. John and Jane also enjoyed taking trips together shopping for their collectibles.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Ann Juby; sons, Shea Juby and wife, Indira, and Eric Juby and wife, Melissa; granddaughter, Kaylee Juby; grandsons, Kody Juby, J.D. Juby, Andrew Juby and Matthew Juby; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Juby; mother, Mary Shaw; brothers, Garrett Juby and Butch Juby; and sister, Jenny Juby.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
